My Goals
Serving the Gold Coast
There are many ways our council serves the community. And infinite possibilities and ideas for doing even better. As your mayor I will concentrate on six core goals, and a raft of achievable initiatives. I with refine these as I move around the city and meet with people to determine what local communities and businesses need most.
Strike the right balance to protect what we love about our city and promote development that will enhance it
Ease traffic congestion and improve the ways we move around the city
Focus on core responsibilities, collaborate with State Government, neighbouring councils and business, listen to the people and keep rates down
Diversify our economy and generate new employment opportunities by supporting and investing in sustainable industries and development
Protect our natural assets and enhance our streets, parks, beaches and rivers
Foster the things that bring us together, keep us safe, healthy and happy
